OIL IMMERSED SOLENOID

A solenoid includes: a movable core (14) configured to move in a first space (22) of a main body case (17) in an axial direction of the first space (22) to apply a biasing force to a spool (212); a fixed magnetic pole portion (13) configured to attract the movable core (14) in the axial direction of the first space (22); an adjusting spring (26) configured to apply the biasing force to the movable core (14); a biasing force adjusting member (56) provided at an opening end portion (30) of a rear case 25 and configured to adjust an axial position thereof to adjust the biasing force of the adjusting spring (26); and a degassing plug (66) provided at an opening end portion of the biasing force adjusting member (56) and including a degassing passage (73) that allows a second space (28) to communicate with an outside by changing relative positions of the biasing force adjusting member (56) and the degassing plug (66). A sealing portion (72) configured to open or close communication between degassing passages (65 and 73) is provided between the biasing force adjusting member (56) and the degassing plug (66). With this, a degassing operation of the solenoid can be performed after the adjustment of an initial biasing force of the adjusting spring (26) without changing the states of the adjusting spring (26) at all.
