Zusammenfassung:	Heat recovery device (1) comprises: a collecting tank (2), which has a waste water inlet (13); and a heat exchanger tank (31) in which a heat exchanger is arranged as a part of heat recovery device and which is connected to the collecting tank via a supply line (29), such that the waste water is introduced from the collecting tank into the heat exchanger tank, where the inlet-side end of the supply is arranged in the region of a float which is movable up and down in the collection tank with the inlet end of the supply line.
