Minimizing unwanted spectral emission of a wireless communication transmitter

A system of a wireless communication transmitter is disclosed. The system is adapted to minimize switching transient spectral emission of the transmitter due to a power ramp. The power ramp comprises a base level and a ramp shape. The system comprises a power amplifier and a base level generator, wherein the base level generator is adapted to compensate the base level based on changes in variables of the power amplifier. The system may also comprise a ramp shape generator adapted to generate the ramp shape, and a combiner adapted to combine the base level and the ramp shape to provide a power amplifier control signal. A power amplifier controller may be adapted to control a power amplifier supply voltage based on the power amplifier control signal. Corresponding method, computer program product, wireless communication transmitter and device are also disclosed.
