Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a personal video recorder (1 ) comprising a receiver (2) which receives the digital broadcast signals, a demodulator (3) which converts the broadcast signals received from the receiver (2) into TS (transport stream) packets, a demux filter (4) which picks the TS packets received from the demodulator (3), a memory unit (5), a decoder (6) which decodes the TS packets into voice and image signals, an encryptor (7), an output means (8) to which the voice and image signals received from the decoder (6) are directed, a portable media driver (9) which records the broadcast signals into an external memory according to the preferences of the user and a control unit (10).
