The transformation relates to the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of nitrogen oxides, or the selective catalytic oxidation (SCO) of nitrogen hydrides and nitrogen-containing organic compounds, preferably in waste gas flows of combustion processes with motors and without motors and industrial applications. The catalytic converter comprises a titano-(silico)-alumo-phosphate.
