Priority Queues Starvation Avoidance In Wireless Communication Systems

There is disclosed a method for managing transfers of outgoing data, the method comprising: a) providing a first data queue in a transmit direction for storing outgoing data corresponding to a first priority level; b) providing at least one other data queue in the transmit direction for storing outgoing data corresponding to at least one other priority level, wherein the at least one other priority level is lower than the first priority level; c) servicing the first data queue and the at least one other data queue in the transmit direction such that a data starvation condition of the at least one other data queue is prevented.
