Zusammenfassung: | The invention concerns a method of controlling a vehicle drive train having an engine and a double clutch transmission (1), said transmission (1) comprising two clutches (2A, 2B) one of which is transmitting engine braking torque being the active clutch whilst the other one constituting the incoming clutch associated with a lower gear, wherein there is a torque handover phase in which the overall engine braking torque transmitted by the active clutch and the incoming clutch is constant, followed by an engine synchronizing phase in which the engine speed is synchronized to the speed required by the lower gear, the incoming clutch transmitting, during the synchronizing phase, a torque which is higher than the overall engine braking torque. |
