Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a pump apparatus for a calibration tool of an extrusion plant, which has a separator (11, 111) having at least one fluid inlet (12, 112, 112') for a fluid mixture comprising liquid and gaseous media, at least one fluid outlet (13, 113) and at least one gas outlet (14, 114), means (15, 16, 120) for producing a subatmospheric pressure in the separator (11, 111) which communicate with the gas outlet (14, 114) and the fluid inlet (12, 112, 112'), means (18, 118) for drawing off the fluid which communicate with the fluid outlet (13, 113) and means (22, 24) for determining the fill level of the fluid in the separator, where the pump apparatus of the invention is characterized in that the means for drawing off the fluid comprise at least one transport pump (18, 118) having a regulatable speed of rotation, where a control device which regulates the speed of rotation of the transport pump as a function of the fill level of the fluid in the separator (11, 111) is provided. The separator (11, 111) can be, for example, a separator operating according to the cyclone principle.
