Zusammenfassung:A joint distractor (12) for use in orthopaedic surgery includes a tibial platform (20) and medial and lateral paddles (22, 24), each of which can be raised and lowered relative to the tibial platform. The tibial platform includes medial and lateral input components (32, 34) which can engage corresponding shafts (42, 44) of a driver (14), and medial and lateral interface blocks (26, 28) which can be moved anteriorly and posteriorly by the action of the driver shafts, to cause the paddles to move between raised and lowered positions relative to the tibial platforms.
