Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to an electrical component, in particular for surface mounting, comprising a housing body, preferably configured as a housing block, comprising a plurality of contact pins which project from the housing body, at least in portions, and comprising at least one orientation element on which, at least in the operating position thereof, the contact pins rest orientated along a predetermined contact contour (K), at least in portions. According to the invention, by installing the at least one orientation element with spacing from the housing body a component can be provided which is simple and cost-effective to produce, versatile and can be fitted in a reliable manner.
