An amount of a fluid is divided into two partial drops (40a, 40b) that are introduced into the display and reservoir chambers, respectively. The display and reservoir chambers are brought together such that two openings partially overlap with each other. An electric field is created in the display and reservoir chambers such that the drops are joined together. The method produces a display element that comprises organic LEDs (OLEDs). An independent claim is also included for a display element for an electrowetting display. |
