ADJUSTABLE GRATING BLADE

A grating-blade arrangement (1) for a food processor, wherein the grating-blade arrangement (1) comprises a knife blade (3) with a base surface (4) and a plurality of cutting edges (5), in order to cut an article advanced up to the grating-blade arrangement (1), and the cutting edges (5) project beyond the plane of the base surface (4) on a cutting side of the knife blade (3). The grating-blade arrangement (1) here also comprises a spacer blade (2), which is arranged on the cutting side of the knife blade (3) and has one or more openings (13), through which at least parts of the cutting edges (5) can extend, in order to project beyond the surface of the spacer blade (2) on that side of the spacer blade (2) which is directed away from the knife blade (3). Also a food processor with a grating-blade arrangement (1). The invention makes it possible for a food-processor manufacturer to supply his customers with a single type of knife blade, that is to say without any need for a multiplicity of different knife blades, in order to comminute articles into different shapes and sizes. This allows greater individualization of the grating product at low costs.
