Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to an adapter containing a filter that can be used with pipetting devices, particularly robotic pipetting devices, to efficiently connect the pipetting device to pipette tips with minimal distortion of the pipette tip. The present invention also relates to a process and a system of using an adapter containing a filter that can be used with pipetting devices, particularly robotic pipetting devices, to assemble the adapter together with an unfiltered pipette tip on the site of application. The adapter and pipette tip are each stackable for saving space at the work station.
