Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method for assembling a display device (1) for a vehicle, wherein a display unit (3) is arranged on a visible side of a housing (2) of the display device (1), whereby the method comprises the following steps: - arranging a lens (4) in front of the display unit (3), - connecting the lens (4) to the housing (2) in a positive locking and/or non-positive locking manner, - rotating the display device (1) up with a rear side and - connecting the display unit (3) to the housing (2) in a non-positive locking manner from the rear side of the display device (1). The invention further relates to a display device (1).
