The nanofibers are primarily composed of carbon, and are present as Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes (MWCNT), Double-Walled Carbon Nanotubes (DWCNT), Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes (SWCNT), Vapour-Grown Carbon Fibers (VGCF), or carbonized polymer fibers, or as mixtures of the aforementioned nanofibers. Fiber composite materials produced using said reinforced epoxy resin have a higher compression modulus and compressive strength. |
