A first preferred embodiment is comprised of a frame that comprises a tubular frame (100). A second preferred embodiment is comprised of a frame that comprises a slab (1). Said frame furthermore comprises a guiding system for a chair (3; 106), so as to be able to move to and fro along the ironing board (2; 111).
