Zusammenfassung:	A tamper-evident adhesive security tape or label includes a flexible backing substrate based on a flexible polymeric film. One surface of the backing substrate bears an embossed varnish layer, a semitransparent metal layer and/or a high refractive index layer, a partial release varnish layer, one or more varnish layers having optical properties, and a self-adhesive coating. In the regions not coated with the release varnish layer, the adhesion of the layer to the layer and the adhesion of the layer to the article to be secured are greater than the adhesion of the layer to the layer, or the adhesion of the layer to the layer and the adhesion of the layer to the layer are greater than the adhesion of the layer to the article to be secured.
