ORAL DOSAGE FORM OF PREGABALIN

Oral dosage form for modified release of pregabalin, comprises pregabalin in a matrix comprising a swelling agent, a matrix former and a buoyancy agent, or alternatively a sedimentation agent. An independent claim is also included for producing the oral dosage form, comprising mixing pregabalin, matrix formers, swelling agents and optionally at least one auxiliary agent, and subsequently compressing the resulting mixture into a tablet, or granulating pregabalin, matrix formers, swelling agents and optionally at least one auxiliary agent to form a granulate, optionally adding at least one auxiliary agent to the granulate, and subsequently compressing into a tablet.
