Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a container (100) for dental instruments and medical instruments, wherein the container comprises a bottom, two side walls (21,22) facing each other, a back wall (31) and a front wall (32) connected to the two side walls and facing each other, and an instrument mounting member (10) extending between the two side walls, wherein the container comprises an opening at the bottom and wherein the instrument mounting member comprises a first portion (11) above the opening, the first portion being formed of two bars positioned at substantially the same vertical position with a space therebetween.
