The air parameter measurement device (3) has a sensor (7) for measuring a parameter of the fresh air flow in a channel (4). A longitudinal section (10) of the channel closed in circumferential direction is formed on an insert part (8) radially inserted into a housing part (9), which comprises another longitudinal section (11,12) of the channel closed in circumferential direction axial to the channel section of the insert part. A collar seal is arranged between a collar (18) of the housing part enclosing an opening (16) and an edge (19) of the insert part extending along the collar. An independent claim is included for a component for a fresh air system for an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle, which comprises a filter element arranged in a housing upstream of an air parameter measuring device.
