Zusammenfassung:	The cooking device has a control circuit including resistors (23) i.e. heating resistors, and displays (21, 22) in the form of a light source in parallel connection with the resistors such that ends of the resistors and the displays are respectively connected to nodes. A temperature regulator (24) controls operation of the resistors and the displays. The regulator switches-on one display if the regulator actuates the resistors and switches-on another display if the regulator switches-off the resistors. An independent claim is also included for a signaling method for use in a cooking device.
