Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a device for connecting wall elements (2, 3) of a drawer. A detent connection can be formed, and the wall elements (2, 3) form at least one part of a drawer wall of the drawer in the connected state. The drawer wall comprises a front wall (3), a rear wall, and/or at least one lateral wall (2). According to the invention, a connecting element is provided with flexible detent portions (11, 12) to form the detent connection. The connecting element is designed as a separate component such that the connecting element can be anchored to an end face and to a surface face of one of the wall element (2, 3) to be connected.
