Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method for producing lignocellulosic fiber materials or natural-fiber-reinforced plastics, in particular medium-density fiberboards and fibrous molded bodies, wood-fiber insulating boards, wood polymer composites (WPCs), and natural fiber reinforced plastics (NFPs) using lignocellulosic fibrous substances that were produced by a combination of wood-chip irradiation using high-energy radiation and subsequent reduction to fibers. The method is characterized in that, in the reduction to fibers, 30 to 40% milling energy can be saved, and the materials produced from the fibrous substances obtained have improved mechanical and hygroscopic properties.
