Reduced flow field velocity for a propulsor

A system and methods for reducing flow field velocity into a propeller (402) are disclosed. An aerodynamic structure (602) is enhanced to provide a reduced velocity flow field region (502), and a propeller (402) is positioned in the reduced velocity flow field region (502).
