Action toy and movable member

An action toy includes a toy body (20) including four mounting units (23A-23D), four function switches (31A-31D) removably mounted to the mounting units (23A-23D), detection means that is disposed in the toy body (20) and that detects that each of the function switches (31A-31D) is mounted to one of the mounting units (23A-23D), a dramatic effect unit (12) that is disposed in the toy body (20) and that creates a dramatic effect using light or sound, and a control unit disposed in the toy body (20). When the detection means detects that one of the function switches (31A-31D) is attached to the toy body (20), the control unit causes the dramatic effect unit (12) to create a first dramatic effect. When a push button unit (36A) is operated, the control unit causes the dramatic effect unit (12) to create a second dramatic effect.
