Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a method of making a polymer in the presence of a catalyst composition having an empirical formula M(glycerol)a(X)b, where M represents a metal atom selected from titanium, zirconium, hafnium or aluminium, X is a ligand derived from acetylacetone or a peroxo ion; a is a number between 1 and 2.5; b is a number in the range from 1 to 2. Reactive compositions containing the catalyst composition are also described.
