METHOD FOR PRODUCING A SECURITY ELEMENT HAVING REGISTERED METALLIZED PARTS AND SECURITY ELEMENT OBTAINABLE THEREFROM

The invention relates to a method for producing a security element (1), to a security element (1) that can be obtained according to the method of the invention, to transfer materials having the security elements according to the invention, and to value items secured with the security elements according to the invention. The security element (1) according to the invention comprises two reflective layers (12, 22), which are glued to each other by means of a resist layer (30), and two optically active layers (52, 62; 72, 82), which are arranged on both sides of the security element. The resist layer (30) has a pattern that is used to create a congruent pattern in the first reflective layer (12). The pattern of the resist layer (30), and thus also of the first reflective layer (12), is exactly reproduced in the second reflective layer (22). This is achieved by gluing on the second reflective layer (22) in the shape of the pattern of the resist layer (30). The regions of the second reflective layer (22) that are not glued are removed, thus forming a negative type.
