Zusammenfassung:A monomer compound comprising: at least one polymerizable functional group per molecule, and at least one bicycloheptyl-polyether radical per molecule, according to structure (I): €ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ -R 13 -R 12 -R 11 €ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ(I) wherein: R 11 is a bicyclo [3.1.1] heptyl group that is bonded to R 12 , if present, or to R 13 , if R 12 is not present, via its carbon atom at the 2-position, optionally substituted on its carbon atom at the 6-position by one or two (C1-C6) alkyl radicals; R 12 is absent or is a bivalent linking group; and R 13 is a bivalent polyether group, useful in making polymers, particularly pH responsive polymers.
