Zusammenfassung:	The system (1) has a lower central cable (16) tensioned using a side anchor that is provided with a braking element. A lower support cable (17) guides a lower edge (18B) of a safety net (12) or omega net. The lower support cable is guided together with the lower edge of the net on a downhill side (B) and separated from supports (6). Ends of the braking element are connected to the side anchor and the lower central cable by a cable loop, respectively, where the side anchor is connected to the lower central cable via a predetermined breaking point.
