A rod-shaped base body (12) includes an opening at a front side (14), where a measuring rod (16) is axially movably inserted into the opening. The head is detachably arranged at an end (18) of the rod, where the end outwardly protrudes from the base body. An independent claim is also included for a method for verifying manufacturing tolerances of components using a measuring system.
