Zusammenfassung: | Hybrid components (30,80,100) containing a ceramic material, in which detailed features of the components (30,80,100) are formed of materials other than ceramic materials, yet result in a robust mechanical attachment of the ceramic and non-ceramic portions of the components (30,80,100). The components (30,80,100) include a first subcomponent (44,82,102) formed of a ceramic-based material and a second subcomponent (46,90,104) formed of a metallic material. The first subcomponent (44,82,102) has a nub (48,94,106) and the second subcomponent (46,90,104) is separately formed and attached to the first subcomponent (44,82,102) by casting the metallic material around the nub (48,94,106) of the first subcomponent (44,82,102). The second subcomponent (46,90,104) is attached to the first subcomponent (44,82,102) by a compression fit and encapsulation of the second subcomponent (46,90,104) on the nub (48,94,106) of the first subcomponent (44,82,102). The nub (48,94,106) has a compliant coating system (70) that provides thermal expansion compliance between the metallic material of the second subcomponent (46,90,104) and the ceramic-based material of the first subcomponent (44,82,102). |
