Zusammenfassung: | Producing a thermal insulation layer structure (2) on a substrate surface (3) comprises applying a ceramic coating material on the substrate surface by plasma spraying, where the thermal insulation layer structure comprises at least two differently prepared thermal insulation layers. The coating material is sprayed by plasma spraying in the form of a powder jet on the substrate surface for producing the thermal insulation layer (2.1) and applied in a working chamber by plasma spraying-Physical Vapor Deposition on the substrate surface for producing the other heat insulation layer (2.2). Producing a thermal insulation layer structure (2) on a substrate surface (3) comprises applying a ceramic coating material on the substrate surface by plasma spraying, where the thermal insulation layer structure comprises at least two differently prepared thermal insulation layers. The coating material is sprayed by plasma spraying at atmospheric pressure in the form of a powder jet on the substrate surface for producing the thermal insulation layer (2.1) and the coating material is applied in a working chamber at a pressure of less than 2000 Pa by plasma spraying-Physical Vapor Deposition on the substrate surface for producing the other thermal insulation layer (2.2). The coating materials is injected as a powder in a powder jet defocusing plasma and vaporized partially or completely, which a layer comprising elongated corpuscles is formed on the substrate surface forming an anisotropic microstructure and are oriented perpendicular to the substrate surface. An independent claim is also included for a substrate or workpiece comprising the substrate surface with the thermal insulation layer structure produced by the above method, which comprises at least two differently prepared thermal insulation layers, the thermal insulation layer sprayed by Atmospheric Plasma Spraying or the thermal insulation layer applied by plasma spraying-Physical Vapor Deposition. |
