Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner comprising a filter (20) having an inner chamber (22) for filtering a dust-laden stream of suction air and an electric motor (30) for cleaning the filter (20), wherein the electric motor (30) is disposed at least partially in the inner chamber (22) of the filter (20). The present invention allows a vacuum cleaner to be provided using structurally simple and cost-effective means comprising a self-cleaning filter (20), which may have a compact construction. In particular, a filter (20) may be provided having a low noise level during the cleaning process. Moreover, the invention is able to attain a simple, frictionally optimized structure for a self-cleaning filter (20).
