Zusammenfassung:	The diffuser (14) has an inner wall (48) that is coaxial to an external wall (44), and a diffuser channel (42) circularly extended along an axial extension from a flow in-side end (52) diverging to a flow out-side end (54). The inner wall and the external wall include wall surfaces (46, 50) that limit the diffuser channel. The wall surface of the inner wall and the wall surface of the external wall are rotationally asymmetric in a section of the ring diffuser. The rotationally asymmetric wall surfaces are provided with elevations and sinks. An independent claim is also included for an axial turbomachine comprising a ring diffuser directly attached at an arrangement i.e. compressor output.
