Zusammenfassung:	A method for providing a streaming service from a server arrangement (SA) to at least one client (C1) of a plurality of clients (C1,...,Cn), comprises a delivery of said streaming service from said server arrangement (SA) to said at least one client (C1) via a unicast connection (SCU1,UCD1), a step of communicating, by said server arrangement (SA) to all clients (C1,...Cn) of said plurality of the availability of at least one multicast channel (MC1,..., MCm) , a step of connecting, by said at least one client (C1) to one (MC1) of said at least one multicast channel (MC1,..., MCn), while still remaining connected to said server arrangement (SA) via said unicast connection (SCU1, UCD1). Embodiments of a client (C1) and a server arrangement (SA) adapted to cooperative perform embodiments of the method are disclosed as well.
