Domestic appliance with motor damping

The appliance e.g. vacuum cleaner (1), has a cover element (7) for covering an electromotor (4) i.e. fan motor, where portions of the cover element is made from a composite material e.g. plastic and leather. The cover element guides airflow (8). The cover element comprises a core element surrounding a coating element. The core element and/or the coating element are made from the composite material. The cover element is produced by injection molding process. A dust room (3) is located in a housing (2), and a change filter bag is arranged in the room, which filters dust and/or dirt particle. Ein Haushaltsgerät, insbesondere ein Bodenreinigungsgerät (1), weist einen Elektromotor (4) und mindestens ein Abdeckelement (7) für den Elektromotor (4) auf. Dabei besteht das mindestens eine Abdeckelement (7) zumindest in Teilbereichen aus einem Verbundmaterial, welches zumindest einen Kunststoff und Leder enthält.
