Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides milk-like beverage compositions comprising from about 1 to about 10% of one or more caseinates, from about 1 to about 10% whey protein, from about 2 to about 10% of one or more fats, from about 0.01 to about 1% one or more hydrocolloids, and from about 0.1 to about 10% one or more emulsifiers. The compositions are formulated to have a have a realistic milk-like appearance and a nutrient profile very similar to cow milk. The compositions do not contain lactose and therefore do not cause the symptoms associated with lactose intolerance.
