Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to an electric drive engine comprising a commutation system, consisting of a commutator connected to the rotor shaft in a rotatably fixed manner, and carbon brushes arranged on brush guiding parts. Said drive engine is characterised in that a spring element applies a force to each carbon brush, the elastic force having a component acting radially in the direction of the commutator and a component in the direction of the brush guiding part.
