The oven (10) has a combustion chamber (12) in which a dental restoration part (26) and a susceptor (16) are arranged, where the susceptor is rotationally displaceable by a drive motor. A microwave radiation source (30) indirectly heats the restoration part under utilization of the susceptor. The susceptor is partially shielded against microwave, and the radiation source is arranged below the susceptor. The susceptor is formed in a form of a ring and/or a plate, a shell or a partially closed container, and comprises a contact surface for the restoration part.
