Zusammenfassung:	The device (1) has a pneumatic drive for generating pressure wave, and a housing (5) and a system device (6) for contacting human or animal body. The system device is supported at the housing over a force sensor such that power is partially transmitted from the system device to the housing by the force sensor. The force sensor measures power transmission piezoelectrically or piezoresistively. The force sensor measures relative displacement between the system device and the housing optically, electrically and electromagnetically or magnetically. Die Erfindung betrifft ein pneumatisches betriebenes Druckwellengerät zur Behandlung des menschlichen oder tierischen Körpers, bei dem ein Kraftsensor vorgesehen ist, über den eine Andruckkraft zumindest teilweise von einer Anlagevorrichtung auf ein Gerätegehäuse übertragen wird.
