Zusammenfassung:The present disclosure relates to a method for operating a mobile communication device (102, 202). The method comprises displaying on the mobile communication device (102, 202) a graphical user interface (600, 700, 800, 900, 1000, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400) comprising a message display portion (602), a message composition portion (604), and a switch and notification portion (606); the message display portion (602) displaying at least a portion of a message of a first communication session; and the switch and notification portion (606) displaying a most current notification (610, 704, 1102) comprising a contact identifier and at least a portion of a message of a second communication session, wherein the most current notification is a replacement of an older notification; and in response to receiving selection of the notification (610, 704, 1102), displaying in the message display portion (602) at least a portion of the same or another message of the second communication session.
