Communication terminal and method for transmitting data between a communication terminal and a communication system in a data network

The terminal (MMT) has two communication interfaces for communication with a communication system (KS). A transport protocol module transmits user data between the terminal and the system by one of the interfaces. A communication module (KM) is arranged between the protocol module and the interfaces. The module (KM) is designed in such a manner that an active session connection that is made between the terminal and the system by one of the interfaces is provided as the active session connection between the terminal and the system by the other interface, without interruption of the connection. An independent claim is also included for a method for data transfer between a communication terminal and a communication system in a data network. Ein Kommunikationsendgerät weist eine erste und zumindest eine zweite Kommunikationsschnittstelle zur Kommunikation mit einem Kommunikationssystem (KS) auf und umfasst ein Transportprotokollmodul (RTP) zum Übertragen von Nutzdaten zwischen dem Kommunikationsendgerät und dem Kommunikationssystem (KS) über zumindest eine der beiden Kommunikationsschnittstellen. Das Kommunikationsendgerät umfasst ein Kommunikationsmodul (KM), welches zwischen dem Transportprotokollmodul (RTP) und den beiden Kommunikationsschnittstellen angeordnet ist, und derart ausgebildet ist, dass eine über eine der beiden Kommunikationsschnittstellen zwischen dem Kommunikationsendgerät und dem Kommunikationssystem (KS) aufgebaute aktive Sitzungsverbindung (SV; SVW) ohne Unterbrechung dieser als aktive Sitzungsverbindung (SV; SVW) zwischen dem Kommunikationsendgerät und dem Kommunikationssystem (KS) über die weitere Kommunikationsschnittstelle übergebbar ist. Die Erfindung betrifft auch ein Verfahren zur Datenübertragung zwischen einem Kommunikationsendgerät und einem Kommunikationssystem (KS) in einem Datennetz.
