Zusammenfassung:	The method involves applying bending force on a sheet panel (1) by an upper tool (4) that is engaged upwardly opposite to a lower tool, where the sheet panel is arranged on the lower tool. The sheet panel is clamped between the upper and lower tools by a force application unit (7) during an entire bending process, where the application unit is engaged downwardly opposite to the upper tool. The application unit is lowered with respect to bending radius of the sheet panel during retention of the clamping of the panel between the tools, where the bending radius is caused by the bending force. An independent claim is also included for a tube-bending press for manufacturing slot tubes made of sheet panels.
