Welding filler material (I) comprises 10-20, preferably 12-18 wt.% of chromium; 5-15, preferably 7-13 wt.% of cobalt; 0.0-10, preferably 2-8 wt.% of molybdenum; 0.0-3.5, preferably 0.5-2.5 wt.% of tantalum; 0.0-5, preferably 1-4 wt.% of titanium; 1.5-5, preferably 2-4 wt.% of aluminum; optionally 0.3-0.6, preferably 0.4-0.5 of boron; maximum 0.30, preferably 0.25 wt.% of carbon; maximum 1.8, preferably 1 wt.% of iron; maximum 0.15, preferably 0.1 wt.% of manganese; maximum 0.03, preferably 0.015 wt.% of sulfur; maximum 0.06, preferably 0.03 wt.% of phosphorus; maximum 0.7, preferably 0.5 wt.% of hafnium; maximum 0.2, preferably 0.1 wt.% of lanthanum; maximum 0.7, preferably 0.5 wt.% of silicon; maximum 0.2, preferably 0.1 wt.% of zirconium; and balance amount of nickel.
