Zusammenfassung:	A distal protection device (320) adapted for deployment in a body vessel comprising a guidewire (322) having a lumen (326) and first and second spaced distal openings (338, 340) which communicate with the lumen (326) a cone-shaped filter (328) having a mouth and holes therein to allow blood to flow therethrough while restricting flow of emboli; and a frame (330) coupled to the guidewire (322), said frame further comprising a sleeve (334) having a lumen and an elongate wire (332), wherein the mouth of the cone-shaped filter (328) is coupled to the sleeve (334) of the frame (330), and further the elongate wire (322) extends from a proximal end of the guidewire (332), through the first opening (338), the sleeve (334) of the frame (330), and the second opening (340).
