Labeling equipment for applying a pressure sensitive shrink label to an article

The present invention relates to a labeling equipment for applying a label (86, 93, 104, 114, 124, 136, 146) to an article (10), the equipment comprising: a) a heat shrinkable film having an inner surface and an outer surface, and a layer of a pressure sensitive adhesive on the inner surface of the heat shrinkable film, wherein the film can be converted into a label, said film working in cooperation with an apparatus, b) the apparatus comprising a heated conformable membrane (83a, 83b, 83c, 101, 111, 121, 131, 142) to create a bladder for simultaneously applying heat and pressure to that label, said membrane contacting the label comprising said heat shrinkable film such that the adhesive layer adheres the label to the article.
