Zusammenfassung:	The method involves connecting an indicator appliance by a detachable electromechanical coupling to a tachograph or a card reader. A driving data volume element to be examined from a tachograph data memory is automatically downloaded into appliance data memories of the appliance. The driving data volume element is automatically compared with a rule by a microprocessor of the appliance. A discrepancy between the driving data volume element and the rule is automatically and non-quantitatively transmitted as a violation report to the appliance by an indicator unit. An independent claim is also included for a system for indicating a discrepancy between driving data in a motor vehicle.
