Zusammenfassung:	To achieve, in a headlamp supporting structure for a saddle type vehicle for supporting a headlamp on a front cowl and a cowl stay, reduction of the cost with little change of a headlamp and a supporting structure for the headlamp also upon change of a headlamp. An outer periphery of a headlamp (35) is attached to a front cowl (34), and a stopper bracket (72) is attached to a lower portion of the headlamp (35). An elastic body (64) for fitting with the stopper bracket (72) is attached to a supporting piece (55) of a cowl stay, and the headlamp (35) is elastically supported at a lower portion thereof by the supporting piece (55) of the cowl stay through the elastic body (64).
