Zusammenfassung:	A gearing having a shaft that projects from the gear interior into the environment, the shaft being sealed with the aid of at least one contactless seal, and the opening of the contactless seal, which is oriented toward the interior of the gearing, i.e., the spatial region of the gearing that contains the lubricating oil, being disposed above the lubricating oil level that comes about when the gearing is not in operation, a tin piece being disposed between the opening and the gear-tooth piece situated closest to this opening and generating lubricating oil waves and/or lubricating oil foam from the lubricating oil bath.
