Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	Device for converison of wave energy to electricity comprising generating breakwater (1) has a pressure duct (2) of steel plate, with a closed upstream end (3) and a turbine and generator (4) at the downstream end. In use it is anchored via cables (5) to face obliquely into the direction (W) of incident waves. Along the length of the duct are arrayed wave collectors (6), which face obliquely with respect to the length of the duct, whereby the length of upstream sides (7) of the collector to upstream ends (8) of bends (9) is greater than downstream sides (10), the bends connecting the trumpets to the duct. The sides are interconnected, one downstream one to the next upstream one along the length of the device. The bends (9) are narrower at their upstream ends than the mouths (11) of the collectors, giving the latter a tapered shape in plan. Bottom (12) and top (14) sides of the collectors also taper, in elevation.
